Getting Ahead was created to support the career outcomes of new entrants to the workforce, including recent graduates, new immigrants, and early-career professionals, bridging the gap between the next generation of talent and career opportunities they often can’t access through traditional campus recruiting such as via Small to Medium-Sized Enterprises (SME’s)

Traditional recruiting processes and models can negatively impact both talent and businesses through limited access, opaque algorithms, and high access costs. However, that’s changing now. Early on, we were described as “Game-Changing” by SME’s and by frustrated talent entering the workforce, who lacked opportunities. We are thrilled to announce our first successful outcome.

Getting Ahead recently provided a Toronto-based engineering firm with direct access to an experienced Master’s graduate who was successfully hired as a software developer.

This firm, a “Global Leader” in its niche, relied heavily on referrals due to the high cost of accessing talent and building a recognized employer brand, even as a leading organization.

Meanwhile, recent graduates, experienced master’s degree professionals, and new immigrants often struggled to enter the workforce. We bridged this gap through direct access, support, and guidance, demonstrating that there is a better way to support new entrants to the workforce and SMEs.
